Discussing The Narrative and What Our Video Means

The narrative to the music video plays a significant role in the video overall and how it plays out. Although there needs to be a strong balance as well as a heavy and noticeable preference of the song performance, the narrative behind it can mean a lot of things, we wanted to make our one meaningful and we wanted to make it memorable;

We, as a group decided to look at some other videos and research into outfit choices as well as other ammeter music videos for inspiration and to be clear on what we wanted.

 

 

 

 

Outfit Choices | Earrings

We took time out of a scheduled lesson to make choices about earrings for specific outfits throughout the video.

 

 



 

 

We tried on each earring to see how they looked on Sophie (our main character/artist) and decided which would go better with each outfit.

These earrings were not chosen, firstly because they were heavy and immediately uncomfortable, secondly because they didn't match any of the outfits we had in mind.

After some debating, we decided that these earrings would not fit the music video because they simply, weren't big and loud enough.

 

 

 

 



 

 

 

 

 

We chose these earrings to be worn when the actor is in the character of the obsessive girlfriend because of the black feather representing darkness as a complete contrast to the light and purity of a white feather.
